Foodanomics – Advanced Classes
March 10 @ 12:00 pm - March 19 @ 3:00 pm

Foodanomics is CMHA Vernon’s free hands-on kitchen initiative that teaches essential life skills — meal planning, budgeting, cooking, and food safety — in a supportive, inclusive environment. The program help build confidence, independence, and resilience, while promoting mental wellness, food security, and community connection.
Participants gain practical skills, can earn FoodSafe certification, and access pathways to employment, education, and volunteer opportunities.
The next round of advanced classes is March 10, 12, 17 and 19 from noon to 3 p.m.
Foodanomics is intended for those adults with concurrent mental health conditions and complex substance use challenges.
To participate in Advanced classes, you must take the Introductory classes first. Foodanomics requires an intake before participating and you must be eligible for our services. Please complete the intake form at https://cmhavernon.ca/intake-form/
