Join the North Okanagan Rural Response partners for a special International Overdose Awareness Day Mobile Roadshow, featuring three community open-house events across the North Okanagan in one day.
This free event is an opportunity to learn lifesaving skills, connect with local resources, and have open, judgment-free conversations about substance use and recovery. Whether you’re supporting a loved one, looking for information, or simply wanting to learn more, everyone is welcome.
What to Expect:
Learn how to administer Naloxone and receive a free kit to take home
- Connect with substance use experts and participate in an informal Q&A
- Learn how to support someone who is using substances
- Find out how to access supports and services in your community
- Learn how to recognize and respond to an overdose
- Help reduce stigma through education, awareness, and conversation
- Connect with local treatment, recovery, and harm-reduction resources
