Sexual Health Clinic for Youth

CMHA Vernon is excited to announce our Youth and Family Integrated Services Hub (YISH) has partnered with Interior Health to offer a free drop-in sexual health clinic for youth ages 12 to 24.
The inaugural clinic will be Tuesday, July 29 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at 3304 30th Avenue.
The clinic will include:
* A public health nurse offering the HPV-9 vaccine for free to eligible youth and young adults ages 12 to 24 (This vaccine can be about $200 if done privately).
* Immunization for Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella combo), Tetanus, and Chickenpox. If unsure about current immunization status, the nurse will also be able to search immunization records and vaccination status.
* A sexual health nurse on site offering free STI testing.
* Information and consultation on STIs and contraception.
* A peer support worker.
No registration is required for the clinic.
