This month we are Giving Thanks for all the great community support.

This year the City of Vernon invested in the community’s youth with a $5,000 Discretionary Grant. The funds were put towards creating and presenting customized presentations to students in School District 22. These presentations were held in person or online depending on the class and the situation. Also, 250 updated suicide prevention handbooks were printed. While the funding and the timeline for the grant is completed, CMHA is still making presentations to schools, to youth organizations, and distributing handbooks.
