Thank you, Interior Savings Community Investment Fund, for supporting CMHA Vernon’s journey towards opening our Recovery College!

CMHA Vernon’s Recovery College will be a welcoming, friendly place where anyone in the community can walk in and learn more about mental health. The need for accessible information about taking care of our mental health has increased substantially during this past pandemic year. By moving to a Recovery College model, we will serve even more people in the community. Those attending Recovery College will have an individualized learning plan and ongoing support. Recovery Colleges bring together the knowledge of people with lived experience of mental health and substance use challenges, along with the expertise of professionals to collaboratively co-develop and co-deliver courses that are relevant and highly valued by the community.
