We are #GivingThanks this October to our wonderful supporters such as the Vancouver Foundation. They provided funding of $15,000 to help our nutrition program adapt to Covid-19 restrictions, and support training of new volunteers for the Crisis Line. During a normal year our nutrition program provides approximately 10,000 meals. This year, since the Covid restrictions began, the kitchen has already provided 8000 meals!!! Our Crisis Line is also busier than it has ever been. This funding was essential to our ability to provide services for the community.
